About Corey Stewart
“She’s my sister, so I have no choice but to tolerate her.
But she still can’t parallel park. She puts food in the oven and wanders off while it burns. And she insists on playing the harmonica, which, let’s be honest, sounds like a cheetah violating a house cat.
All that being said, though, I do love the way she writes.”
Bo Stewart
Corey Stewart's award-winning writing includes everything from victim's impact statements to video scripts. The pinnacle of her professional life thus far is a toss-up between two projects: a collection of off-color beer descriptions for her favorite brewery, That Damn Mary, and a titillating corporate legal document called The Global Policy on Policies. Both drive the reader to drink.
Prior to writing her first novel, The Wisdom of the Olive Tree, Stewart lived in 7 foreign countries and received a Masters in Theology and Literature (where her weekly office visits led her academic advisor to question his life choices) and a BA in Peace, War and Defense (which her mother persists in calling Peace, Love, and Chocolate Cake).
Stewart’s work explores what happens when the chaos of life lands on our doorsteps and shakes our foundations, and what it takes to regain a sense of purpose when the roles that define us are stripped away.
The Wisdom of the Olive Tree is available on Amazon.
